My password is forgotten how can I unlock my phone?

You might have to perform a hard reset which requires you to reset the device back to factory settings. Everything will start over like it was when you first bought so data will be lost if you didn't save it somehow prior.

However, I did find an article online that has an approach that doesn't require the hard reset. I am not sure if this works but I wanted to provide the information to you just in case so you could review it.
