Cameras not working after screen replacement

Replaced a cracked iPhone screen everything works fine except the cameras, I open the camera app and it just stays black on both cameras it does this on other camera apps, but the loudspeaker and proximity sensor work fine, the inside of the phone has a sort of whitish powder that reminds me of corrosion, the customer said the phone was a networking problem before hand, what do I do?
