iPhone won't turn on after a drop.

I recently purchased a bad iPhone 5s that had been dropped and won't turn on. The screen was not broken and the frame is in tact. I opened the phone (didn't look like anyone had opened it before me) and replaced the battery and screen. The water sensor were not activated and a hard reset wouldn't do anything. I even took the logic board out and tried it in another chassis with no luck. It won't even connect to the computer either. Any idea or suggestions appreciated.

There is quite a large list of reasons why the phone might not turn on. When you say you've tested it in another chassis, do you mean a complete known working one? If so you need to start looking at the logic board. Get out your microscope or magnifying glass and look for visible damage. Report back if you find any and post pictures if you do.

I did use a known working chassis and didn't have any luck. There is no visible damage (that I can find) but I don't have a microscope. I do have a fairly strong set of magnifying glasses that do allow me to see the small resistors. I'm curious that when I test the battery voltage when the battery is plugged into the board I'm only getting 0.3v but the battery unconnected is 3.8v. I don't have the schematics for any of the iPhone's so I don't know what the voltage should be.
