can I use any microusb wire to charge my dre beats pill or does it have to be a wire made by dre beats and designed for dre beats pill

@epro, "USB" stands for "Universal Serial Bus". It is an established universal standard and there is no specific or wrong intention. All USB cables (From $0.01 to $1,000,000) will behave the same way (hence universal) and can be used for the same thing. The only difference are the quality of materials and length of cables.
