What is the problem? It's been fine before but now I can't hear any of my music or videos. I know the music is playing because the little bar on the playback is moving but no sound still...

If you've checked that the volume is not muted for any reason and you are using headphones, make sure that the headphones work by testing them on another device. If there is still no sound coming through the headphones then the headphone jack may be faulty.
