I need to know what type of connector the MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Mid 2012/Early 2013) SSD uses. I want to get an external USB tray for it so I can read the data off of it but I am not sure what type of adapter to get.

You'll need something like an OWC Envoy. Check with OWC to make sure you get the correct one for your machine.

The standard MD213LL/A configuration was discontinued on February 13, 2013, but it still was possible to custom configure the MD212LL/A with a 256 GB SSD as well as other options.
