Here is the IFIXIT guide you'll need to follow to gain access to the underside of the upper case: MacBook Air 13" Early 2014 Upper Case Replacement it's still a lot of work to just replace just the keyboard alone, most people just replace the complete uppercase assembly.

Yes it can be done, but before you go down this path why do you need to replace it? Did you spill something into your keyboard?

Thanks for replying. I have taken out the keyboard but the rivet studs remain in place unlike the 2013 model which leaves screw holes. I have just used double sided tapes along all the spaces between the keyboard and hopes it stay.

The keyboard you bought should have come with replacement rivets. Or, if you have the skills and tools tap out the holes so a screw could be used instead. Just make sure the screw head is not to high as it will interfere with the logic board (the space is quite tight here)

Don't use tape it's not strong enough and it leaves a mess!
