What is causing flashing pixels on dark background after liquid spill?

I spilled water on the left hand side of my MBP retina and blew the backlighting in my screen. I had the LVDS connector on the logic board repaired and the screen is now working but on dark backgrounds the pixels are randomly flashing. It looks like some kind of interference or static. Do you think it's the LCD, the LVDS cable or the LVDS connector on the logic board? Or is there something else at play here? I haven't a look at the other side of the logic board. I have cleaned and reseated the LVDS connector on the logic board and no change.

Here's a picture and a vid.

I would go back to the person who fixed your system to see what he can do for you. This could be a few different things. He could have not cleaned the flux off of the desoldering he did, or the connector was only cleaned and the pins are pitted so the electrical connections are not clean. The other possibility here is the electrical noise of the system is not being dissipated via the filtering caps on the logic boards ground plane due to corrosion.
