Why is my remote not working?
I'm trying to power on the Mondo using the remote, but the device isn't responding. Even when I manually turn it on, it's not responding to the remote.

First thing you want to do is identify any simple problems before tearing the remote apart. You can evaluate this using our troubleshoot for the remote. If all else fails, it may be your circuit board. In that case, we have a guide addressing this problem. Your remote control will be fixed in no time!

Hi,
If the remote is of the 'lnfra red' signalling type, (there is a small LED type bulb at the front end of the remote) you can check if it is working properly by using the camera in your mobile phone, (or any digital camera for that matter).
Just point the remote towards the camera and press any button on it. You should see a flash at the end of the remote, when viewing it through the display of the camera on your phone.
If you don't see anything, try a different button as sometimes the 'Power' button may be worn out due to the fact it gets the most use.
If you still don't see anything, have you checked / changed the batteries in the remote. Also try another known working remote control unit (e.g. from a TV perhaps) to check that you are doing the test procedure with the camera correctly
