All the buttons work on PS4 controller when I'm in home menu, but when go to play any game, app, Netflix, Hulu, etc the only button that works is the PS button. Can you please help me find solution?

This is a problem with the console not the controller... Make sure that the controller you are using is the "player 1" controller, if it is Try a different controller if it still does it Hard restart the console, if it still does it try flashing the OS from scratch (will format the drive so...) if it still does it something is very wrong...
