I haven't used one befor but there are programs that can recover deleted item from a drive if the storage has not been overwritten but I don't know what the program is called...

P.S. When you delete something from a computer you aren't actually deleting it you just tell the computer that that area on the disc it open, if nothing has been written on top of it it should still be there Windows just doesn't know it...

Because I can't remember what the program is I didn't mark this as an answer...

Just for your info, the file "folders.dbx" in the user's "Store Folder" maps the actual folders visible in Outlook Express to the DBX files that hold the messages for each of those folders. Folders.dbx is automatically regenerated by OE if it is deleted, which is sometimes used as a fix for a corrupt folders.dbx file.

Each of the DBX database files represents a separate folder or sub-folder and contains all the messages in that folder.

Please also be aware that copying a DBX file from the Read-Only medium of a CD into the user's Message Store folder may issue errors when OE is opened. The Read-Only attribute has to be removed from the DBX files in the Store Folder.

To ascertain the User's Store Folder you open OE and use the Tools > Options > Maintenance tab, and click on the "Store Folder" button. It is set in the "Store Root" (REG_EXPAND_SZ) Value in the registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{GUID}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0

@janowski try this. First off some of the folders will be hidden so you will have to show the hidden files . You do that by

Open Folder Options by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Folder Options.

Click the View tab.

Under Advanced settings, click Show hidden files and folders, and then click OK.

Then go to ==>>Documents and Settings\<Username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities

Within that folder there should be folders starting with "{" (without the quotes)

If you have one mail identity there will only be 1 folder, if you have 2 there will be 2 folders etc.. Once you find the one with your e-mails. MOVE, Delete or Rename the Folders ".dbx" file. The next time you open OE should rebuild the folders list and the missing links. The folder will have to be resorted.

Also check on here for more info

Instead of messing around with utilities that "undelete" files, you have the .dbx files, well done! So get the files to the computer in question, email them or bring/send the CD, and Import them into Outlook Express.

Just go to File, Import, Messages, choose the version they came from, locate the files and choose "All" messages. You will have a lot of old messages you don't want, but get rid of all the unwanted old messages and finally move the folder you lost to an appropriate place in Outlook Express.

It's fairly simple, there's an Import Wizard in Outlook Express too, if you get confused.

1. The screenshot shows how to "undelete" a file. It will be moved back.

If you simply put files in the Trash you can restore them by opening the Trash (left-click on the Trash icon) and drag the files from the Trash to your Desktop or other desired location.

2. "Time machine" is a built-in backup tool that works with your Mac and an external drive, As the problem you described, I read it. The files deleted in Trash bin could be a different problem which Time machine can't solve. you can read this article and learn more. I hope it will help.
