Key wont spring to accessorie from the start position.
OK so I replaced my steering column in my 1991 Chevy 1500 2wd replaced the turn signal switch and wiper switch even tightened up the the loose tilt pivot point as I got to reassembling it I tested my new tumbler and it won't go back to accessorie so I pulled it back apart and reassembled it to no avail what could be the issue and where should I start? (I'm sure if I had more light I could have figured it out but it was getting dark and it's got me puzzled) thank you for reading this and thank you in advance for your help

I believe it is a spring inside the lock cylinder that probably came loose. I've heard of this happening rarely, never encountered it however. I'm not sure if you can dissasemble it but if so i haven't had any luck finding the spring only. Probably get a set of them to just bypass te hassle. 2 doors, the column and a set of keys. Test them first.
