Touch Screen not working.

I've had the Blu 6.0 phone for almost a year now and my touch screen is not working. When I go to unlock my phone, my touch screen is not allowing me to unlock my phone by touching the screen. If i do get through the screen picks up something or motion that i didn't even touch or follow through. I can't even shutdown or turn off my phone because I have to touch the selection to power off or reboot. Please help!!!! I want to be able to fix this myself before having to send the phone over and get another one. If so I want to be able to keep all my apps and downloads and transfer to another phone if need be.
