2 Canon EOS 750D Charger Not Working
If this wasn't so tragic it would be hilarious.
I have a Canon EOS750D, the charger model is LC–E17E.
So I go to find my charger to charge my battery, Only to find that my cat has peed on it!
I blotted it, I shook it, I gave it a couple of days, I shook it again, I blotted it again and I shook it again.
So then muggins here decides to plug it in. You can guess what happened can't you?
Yes of course, it blew the fuse..
Easy you all say, Just change the fuse. My life is not that simple. The charger is still dead.
Okay, I will buy a new charger. £46! You are having a laugh aren't you?
It looks like the charger is held together by one rivet. I am suspecting that it has done some internal damage, don't you? Does anyone know if it is feasible to dismantle one of these things? I have some isopropyl alcohol, and thought I might try and disperse any liquid with that. But I really haven't got a clue what to do.
Have you seen just how cheap and nasty these things are made? How on earth can they justify the price of a replacement?
All suggestions (Polite ones preferably), will be gratefully welcomed.

OK Update, Bought the charger. Charged the battery. Insert battery into camera, message comes up asking me if there is a Canon name of the battery. I reply yes, it then tells me I have a fake battery and contact customer services.
I bought camera including battery brand new at a major high street store. It is the same battery I had in the charger when it fried.
Sigh!

I have contacted Canon UK customer services, sending the whole camera and battery back to them to have a look.
