I installed a new HP 564 black ink cartridge, and nothing black printed. I ran the "clean print head" program, and the colors print brilliantly, but still no black. I put in a second new cartridge, still nothing, It printed fine yesterday, albeit a little dim.

It's just because printer still didn't pick up or recognise the new cartridge.
Just do the initial printer set-up process and it works fine.
