I bought a used 5c from a friend with a previously replaced screen that was cracked. When I opened it up I noticed where you plug the front camera into on the board had missing prongs and was damaged will the phone still work with a new screen?

Without the front camera flex you won't be able to use the proximity sensor, ambient light sensors, in ear speaker or loudspeaker microphone so I wouldn't really consider it viable unless you only want to use it as an mp3 player.

Hi I am wondering if that would affect the home button at all
The home button connects via the charging port assembly with two connection prongs so it won't affect it at all.

Do I just not plug the front camera in will the rest still work?

Wanted to add it still charges and when I plug it into the computer iTunes responds to it Screen I have was cracked and damaged so cant see anything on it

I can't say for sure if the phone will still work with the damaged FPC connector for the front camera on the logic board, since you said pins are bent on logic board it may stop the phone from working if it is shorting against other pins.
