upgrade ram and ssd hard drive

This page (see link below) has a lot of chromebook specs but the editor has given up on trying to keep it up to date (especially concerning upgradeability of of ram and storage) as models proliferated over time.

Consumers should read this and thoroughly research BEFORE they buy any chromebook especially ram capacity and/or upgradeability if they plan on heavy use of tabs etc. If a chromebook has an sd card slot it is less important that it have upgradeable hard store space. It seems that the manufacturers including google branded devices are trending toward less upgradeability as time goes on … let the buyer beware!
