Data Recovery Broken iPhone

Somebody please help! I recently dropped my iPhone into water and when I pulled it out, it was black and the dot next to the front facing camera was red. I haven't backed up any photos since March and I really need the pictures I have taken since then. I've tried software to recover them, but most won't recognize my phone when I plug it into my PC. How can I get it to recognize my iPhone? I seriously need those pictures. Somebody please help!!!

Hi there,

Tom Chai is right, in order to access your data/photos, the phone has to be semi-functional.

Water damage can be pretty nasty; it causes corrosion on the boards and shorts your circuits. Your best bet is to read and follow the steps on these guides in order to bring your phone to life enough to recover the photos: Repairing iPhone Liquid Damage

Repair the original phone to the point that it can boot up, unlock and connect to PC via USB, or have wifi so you can back the data up through wifi. Other than that, nothing else can bring back the data.

i agree with Tom ... unfortunately if you cannot the the original logic board to work, the data inside is lost :(

Best advise for future - do a backup! iCloud is super comfy for apple devices.

About extract the data- try this

They helped me ones, after i dropped my iPhone in the pool , phone is dead but i have all my contacts and photos at least.

It may be some hardware related causes, you should check the connector first. Here is a guide on how to recover data from a water damaged iphone. Hope it helps.
