Why would the psp movement be going down and to the right?
I replaced the casing on my manager's psp 1001, but when I go to test out a game the movement is all weird. I started SOCOM and when it asks to create a dossier the cursor goes down and to the right in a rapid way. I've taken it apart and unhooked the d-pad (even ordered a replacement pad) and I still get the same results. Any suggestions?

Is there any damage to the metal contact pads for the D-Pad?
