MacBook wont turn on when on battery

Hello,

my mbp has come across a weird problem. I recently did a logic board upgrade from 2010 to 2012, I also bought a battery with It since the older one doesn't fit.

so anyway after getting it to run I used it for a bit on battery and as the battery reached 76% it hibernated!!! the battery indicator lights showed one blinking light. so I connected my charger and it took about 10 mins to get it to run and after that about 10 hrs for a full charge (without using). The same problem repeated for 2 times with the MacBook hibernating hibernating at about the same battery level. So I was like Ok I can deal with that.

but then it became weird. I tried to turn it on at full battery, charger connected and it would not turn on(no fans running, no light). So I removed the battery wire from logic board for 10 secs and reconnected it then connected the charger and it turned on without pressing the power button.

Now every time I have to turn it on I have to repeat this procedure. Some times the power light blinks a few times after I connect the charger and it turns on. Sometimes it just suddenly restarts in boot.

Once the OS is booted however it keeps running(no sudden shutdowns etc)

So can anyone figure out if the problem is battery or RAM or logic board?
