iPhone 6 non responsive
I went to bed and plugged in my iphone 6 (had 15% power) to a non apple power block plugged directly into the wall (no surge protector)....it was powering up when I fell asleep. I woke up to the phone not responsive at all.....won't turn on or show anything on the screen. I am familiar with how to work on these phone somewhat so I opened it up, checked all the connections, check the battery connection, etc......and still nothing.
I ordered a new battery (just in case) and replaced that as well, still nothing. Went to the apple store/genius bar and the guy said the charge port is working but he couldn't get anything from the phone either. He mentioned maybe a power surge or something.....it had rained the night it happened.
My question is does anyone have a best guess on if or how I can fix this myself? He said it might be a "fried logicboard".........so if that is the case, can I do this repair? If yes, whats the deal with the "cloud locked" etc stuff? I am very budgeted so I am looking to do this repair as inexpensively as possible. Thanks for any help/advice, much appreciated.

Do you know if the new battery came with enough charge for it to turn on?
iCloud locked logic boards are basically stolen / lost iPhone boards that are locked to an appleID where you can't activate the phone when setting it up (after restore or on setup screen) which makes the phone unusable.
I would try another charging dock just to be sure then if not I would say most likely a main board issue, not sure if it's fixable.
