My screen doesn't work after digitizer replacement

I damaged my screen, but I ordered new one from eBay and I replaced it. The thing is, I damaged a microchip near the display connector (one of the squares) is there anyway to recover it back? or only with a new motherboard replacement?

I already restored device, charged it, it works nice, even shows backlight and makes sound, just no image....

Thank you

The component that is missing is a choke (90 ohm / 50mA). The fact that it's not there cuts the continuity between the drive circuit and the display, which is why everything else works except the screen. These chokes are available from major electronic suppliers and can be replaced with the proper tools and experience.

Theoretically, you could also short out the two signal paths (perpendicular to the connector, like this || ) although your device may/will suffer from EMI and cause perhaps some undesirable effects. The best option is to have this component replaced. Look for a skilled micro-solderer.
