Please help me identify the tape located between the two antennas.

Once i removed the screen on my Surface Pro 3 i accidentally cut through an area that looks similar to the material used in the left and right antennas.

The piece in question is located to the right side of the left antenna. It is right before the camera. It has "date code" written on it.

It doesn't appear to be any of importance but i would like to verify this before i buy a replacement screen.
