My screen is going blank.

?When I'm using the phone for some few minutes and then I press home key , nothing responds the when I press again the screen goes blank so I have to restart or plug in charge before it comes...I once saw a pop up saying system ui not responding.. I'm thinking of flashing it will it solve the problem?
