Why Does my Reception Keep Dropping Out after Refurb of Chassis

Hello all,

I am posting to ask why the reception in my refurbished iphone 6 keeps dropping out?

The iphone had the entire chassis replaced as the old one was too badly bent & damaged.

Is it possible the after market chassis+parts are to blame for the reception errors?

Or is it possible from the previous drop, the reception components on the logic board broke? Would the either work 100% or not at all?

Any help is appreciated , thanks!

Maybe from the dropping. Did you changed the housing? Maybe one of the antennas plugs is not connected or not seated connected.

I changed the housing to a non-OEM housing, it had signal issues. I switched to an OEM housing, it still has signal issues. I think its to do with the logic board. Is it fixable ? ;(

There is most likely a missing antenna screw that connects to the housing. OR you need a new dock connector OR- now im not 100% sure about this but - maybe a ground connection to the dock connector? Can someone correct me if the last statement is completely wrong?

Your iPhone 6 housing actually acts as an antenna. It's designed in a way to work perfectly with the design of the board itself. Having an aftermarket housing can easily reduce signal strength.

Ive replaced many housings.... I have never had this issue.... It IS possible, but I'm gonna say not as likely as a bad transplant

Asumming the antenna cable is connected and is not faulty itsself

All screws are in the right place. and I even moved the logic board back over to an OEM chassis/parts which still give the same effect. So I believe the damage is done from the drop. WHO SPECIALISES IN LOGIC BOARD REPAIR?!
