I have a similar problem. Camera indicates Lens error oo when power on. Problem with the lens is that the zoom barrel will not turn. I have followed the advice above with regard to the small button and then trying to turn the barrel of the lens but to no avail. I think fffosrab has the same problem, but is just describing his fault as blocked rather than locked or jammed. Watched a video of opening up the lens but not sure I want to do that...
