Why no sound for cable but sound for Netflix?
Don't have sound on regular cable tv but Netflix has sound when used? Is there something wrong w cable?

Unplug everything from the back of the cable box. Wait a minute or two. Plug it all back in. Let it reload. My sound came right back on. I have an lg. Smart tv and Im on direct tv. Had great sound for netflix. No sound for tv programs

If you have cable or satellite try unplugging everything connected to your cable or satellite box. Wait a minute or two, then reconnect. I had this same problem & it restored the sound on my TCL Roku TV. I have Spectrum cable.

Have a vizio soundbar and a vizio smart tv all connected to Spectrum cable. Sound worked perfect last night. Today no sound from soundbar but tv sound works. HELP!

Question: My Netflix works. But, I have no sound from my Samsung cable issued box when I watch cable. Could it be the HDMI cable?

New Sony Bravia tv with Samsung sound bar. Sound great thru spectrum but warbely on prime and
Anything streaming. What is the cause? Wanting to cut the cord on Spectrum. Does it have anything to do with the internet speed?
Mine was not the HDMI Cable. I have exact set up as you. Unplugged cable box and reset and my sound came back immediately.
I habe a tcl tv, my cable has no sound but net flix does, i unplugged everything and the same thing

Check the volume and mute options on the set top box.

I did not have tv sound, but Netflix sound on my TCV roku tv. I unplugged the HDM! cable and the power cord to the back of the cable box. I came back a few minutes later and plugged them both back in. Success!!

How is your cable connected to the TV? HDMI, Coaxial, Fiber Optic, etc. How is your Netflix streamed to your TV? Is it in the TV, Roku, Apple TV, etc.

Netflix is plugged in with 3 plugs-yellow, white, red TV is an LG. Volume only works with Netflix. Not a smart tv.
