Where can one purchase a replacement IPad battery?

I love your deconstruction guide for replacing a IPad's battery. I am still unaware on how to procure a battery for the IPad. The ifixit seems to not have them in stock, and they are practically nonexistent online. Any pointers on vendors that can supply the batteries?

If you're looking for a 3rd party vendor because you yourself want to sell them, you'll have to sniff around sites like Ebay and Alibaba. If your iPad battery is already dead (after 7 months at the most?), then you probably have a warranty claim that you can go into the Apple Store for.
