How would I do a factory rest on this device? I cant get in to use the actual phone.

This is the phone with the buttons on the back right? If the device can be turned on, then press all three buttons (power and vol up + down) simultaneously until android recovery pops up. Select wipe data and choose yes. This usually wont delete pictures, downloads, or anything on sdcard0, but will reset the phone.
