Hi,

What do you mean by "that" when you say "Where is that located? And why would that leak?"

When you say at the back, is it at the top of the washer near the hoses or on the floor underneath?

If on the floor have you checked the drain pump hose connections underneath and also the water level sensor hose connection as well (also underneath).

What is the model number of your washer?

It might also be helpful to know if it is a constant leak, or of it stops once the washer is turned off and drained.

If it is a constant leak, not dependent on operation of the washer, then it probably is the hoses. They have rubber seals inside the metal hose connectors that degrade over time, especially on the hot water connections. I usually replace them if I ever need to disconnect the hoses. It could also be possible that the intake valve plastic connection could be cracked.

If it is only happening when the washer is filling; then, it could be that the intake valve connecting hoses that lead to the drum are loose or broken, or the drain pump connections, or the water level sensing hose. Very rarely, the outer tub of the washer can become cracked and leak.

It would help to know more about the problem, and what the model number of your washer is.
