Why won't my camera stay turned on with new and correct batteries in
My camera will not stay turned on with even brand new batteries. I have tried over the years and can't keep it on

Hi,
Check that the Auto Power Off function is set to Off.
Here is an image to show you where it is located in the menu settings.
