New hard drive and inserting SSD
Dear Madam/Sir
I want to put in an SSD into my Macbook 13" 2006 intel A1181.
Can I put it into the old drive slot or do I have to put it into the place where the CD Drive/Super Drive was?

Hello Dan
Thank you for all the help so far. So would it be safe to say that I should get the following: a Samsung 750 EVO SSD and an : acomdata Tango Pro TNGXXXUFBE-BLK 2.5" Black SATA USB & 1394 External Enclosure? My MacBook is 10 years old and I just want to keep it going.
Many thanks
Verne

Hello Dan, here are the details of my Macbook:Model A1181: 1.83, 2, 2.1, 2.13, 2.16, 2.2, or 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo processor. I seem to have lost you in conversation somewhere. You had said that I should rather get a hard drive not an SSD. To try to get back to where we were: Can't I just get an SSD to insert where the current hard drive is to replace it?
