rsb24, Drive belt belt may be worn, loose or broken(missing a chunk out of it), idler pulley seizing/weak tension spring, if hydro drive-low on hyrdostatic fluid/oil, air in hydro. system. rsb24 what do you mean by stops moving? It stalls? It totally dies or just stops moving but keeps on running? Does it ever start to function again? When? How?

It stops moving, stays running, doesnt matter if your mowing or not.
