Hi all, i'm a newbie. My phone was blatantly damaged by someone...

I don't care about the phone but i really want to recover the data, i already brought the phone once to local phone repair shop and the guy could only get the phone to turn on to the apple white screen and then it's stuck there....and he gaveup trying to fix because he didn't want to possibly further damage the phone and ill lose the data for good he says...

pls see attached for pics of the damage. The logic board seems to be bend... can anyone kindly suggest what i should do? Am i out of luck?

Fesanity, You may have to find a good Professional Phone Data Recovery Service in your vicinity, to try and retrieve your data and get the phone up and running.

What you need is a good skilled iPhone repair workshop that does microsoldering not a corner shop. They can remove the shields and inspect the logic board. Repair if required. It will need a known good screen too. As long as nooone has tried to reset the phone via itunes there is a good chance of success. If you car'nt find anyone let me know and I can take a look.

You can also try a new battery and screen. Sometimes, even when bent, it will still power in and work as normal when certain components are replaced. Here is a link for the parts. Happy repairing!
