Digital display has LL, why?

We had an issue with our Whirlpool Quiet Partner III (GU2400XTPS7) where it was blinking LED lights and not operating. We performed the suggested diagnostic test and determined the problem was with the front control panel. After replacing that, the machine now seems to operate except the dual digital display does not pass the diagnostic test. It does not show the minutes left but instead a sort-of 'LL'. (I tried using the delay start, but just get random display, not the expected numbers.) We replaced the display, but have the same result. Could this indicate there is an issue with the new control panel? or does the circuit board now need to be replaced? Is there some additional test we need to perform? Thanks!

I failed to say, this is a dishwasher...

It's not really an LL, it's the upper left segment and the center segment of each of the digits, does that make sense? |_ |_

I've already got the panel apart, but here is a photo of display and I have colored in what the lit display looks like while operating.

Mayer, that's my last answer to post here. It was a lot of fun. I'll miss this. Idk why, but everything I posted yesterday was marked as spam and removed. So, im gonna move on. Take care. Tell oldturkey bye!

Bought a new display several days ago, same problem, exactly... Machine washes, just no display of minutes left and the delay start is tricky... So, we are going to try a new circuit board.

@kaykay would you help on this I don't want to lose @ladytech because of the SPAM bot

@noonehere don't give up just yet. Yes iRobot is a PITA but it is our first line defense I am certain @kaykay or her sidekicks @kelsea @sam can help us out. We do need you on here. Nobody knows appliance repair as well as you do!

@noonehere Looks like Sam already tried to reach out, but please don't leave us! What can I bribe you with to stay? @kaykay and I can sing and dance for you. My dogs can do a couple tricks? I know a guy in the iFixit stock room too. ;D But seriosuly, I have much to learn from my fellow lady fixers, don't leave just yet!
