i was fixing the ylod and now my internet wifi aint working the wifi board clip had come off but i have put it back in place. but still my wireless aint working.. any ideas apart from getting the part but the part is only £6.95 from ebay

Check to see that the ribbon cable between the mother board and the wifi board is connected with the correct side up. That is usually the case with this problem.

also make suer the little black cable that runs back to the antenna is plugged in...just something else to check

I have a question: Will this part work with a 20GB model and allow it to use WiFi or is WiFi disabled at a lower level? I imagine that the firmware still recognizes it as a 20GB model and does not present WiFi options unless it works like a Plug 'n' Play PC.

there is a board that the wifi antena plugs into that im sure the 20gb model lacks...i could be wrong but im sure thats how they cut costs was to eliminate the board and the antena. i have never been inside of a 20gb model to say this for sure but thats my best guess.

also with that...in the 60gb model the board that i mentioned that the antena plugs into is also the bluetooth board....so im not real sure how the 20gb board is if there just is no antena or if the board is different
