wet phone wont charge

I spilled some juice on my apron at work and it soaked thru to my phone, I did not realize the phone had gotten wet, but once I found it, I immediately dried it and it was still workin then. It worked all night long and even attempted to charge a little over night. BUt today it hasn't taken a charge and i've had it plugged up for over two hours. Also it keeps turning itself off when I power it on. WHat are some remedies...if you please??

tamarapfoster, Stop charging or powering up your HTC 626 until the liquid/juice damage is addressed correctly, as you could be shorting out components inside the phone. You really should take care of the corrosion that is happening inside the phone from the juice as that could be your problem. A tear down video link for your device Link #1, disassembly guide will enable you to get inside the phone to remove the damage/ corrosion caused by the liquid. Use the 2nd link as a guide/instruction on how to clean/repair the device from liquid damage. After this you will be able to power on the phone and see if further damage has to be addressed. If not wanting to attempt the repair pop into a good local cell phone repair shop and have them take a look and estimate repair. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.
