Hello. The battery for mbp mid 2010 15" has been out of stock for a while. I also noticed the same thing from other sites selling the battery. Where does the battery come from? How do you get it? Is it manufactured by Apple or someone else? Since Apple doesent want you to change the battery, do they also not want you to buy it?

thank you crevz but im also thinking more in general. does apple sell batteries for the mbp unibodies? what will happen in the future if they dont? who will manufacture the batteries?
