The passive needs to be glued to fix the air coming through the space of passive radiator silicon

My right side passive radiator was doing this. The JBL emblem was separating from the radiator causing the cracking sound. I peeled it off, cleaned off old glue and reglued it. Good as new!

I've had the same problem for a while now but I figured out the problem and was able to fix mine just take the bass radiator off that's crackling mine was the left side. the flat panel is separating from the boot that what's rattling and making a crackling sound. I used krazy glue and its holding together and no longer makes that horrible sound hope this helps

Open the Bluetooth speaker, get to the speaker drivers inside and check for any tear within the diaphrams. If any tear is found, seal it off with a THIN layer of glue. Personally, I use the white glue used in gluing furniture and book binding. It will take quite a long time, say four hours, before it dries. Note, apply a thin layer of glue over the tear so as to allow the diaphrams to bounce freely outwards and inwards. This will ensure that the sound quality is not compromised by not ending up sounding HIGH PITCHED.

This fix of patching up the diaphrams with a thin layer of glue will work for most, if not all, Bluetooth speakers.

Cheers!
