Which SSD fits into MacBook Air 7.2 EMC 2925

Hi, iFixit folks.

I'm looking for right specifications on upgrading on MacBook Air 7.2 EMC 3178 or model 1466 from 2017 (when I bought it)

Looking af MACsales, they do offer an upgrade, but they never say anything about the connections

I have found that in system overview it just says PCI? But will the slot be PCI 1,2, 3 or 4?

Samsung have this SSD, but wil if fit?

Apple uses a custom edge connector while similar to the Samsung M.2 blade SSD (your URL link) it is not pin compatible. This series uses a custom PCIe 2.0 x4 SSD.

While you bought your system in 2017 it is the exact same hardware as the Early 2015 with just a slightly goosed up CPU.

As far as upgrading the SSD here is the IFIXIT guide you'll need to follow: MacBook Air 13" Early 2015 SSD Replacement and here is another option: Transcend - JetDrive 820
