How can I fix this output issuse for my PlayStation 2 console?

I have a PlayStation 2 model number SCPH-50001. The system powers up and boots to the main screen. With a game in the system, the game boots and seems to load normally. I can hear menu sounds, but my problem is how the screen looks. I have tried to research and figure out what might be the cause but I failed to find the information I seek.

I do know that all my cables are good and work because I use the same cables for my Xbox 360.

I wonder if I just need to get another Ps2. I do have a picture, but I do not know how to link it in forum. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.
