My macbook starts but doesn't show anything on the screen
When I power on my macbook, the fan runs, but it doesn't show anything on the screen. When I connect an external monitor, nothing appears on the external screen as well.

Black screen or grey/white screen? if its a black screen - aka "non backlit" if could be a problem with the inverter, or inverter cable.
If you do not get video on the external monitor, its possible you have a bad logic board. On Macbooks, since video ram is shared, try reseating the memory first.

He doesn't get nothing on the external monitor. If the inverter cable or board was faulty he would have an image on the external and faint image on the internal.
Try booting from the install disk (then you can verify your drive) or booting into target disk mode, or another bootable drive if you have one.

Hey, what is booting? Can you explane a bit more how i do. I understand a little bit but not all:)
Booting is starting up Rab777hp - that's no relationship to his problem, he has a video issue, not a hard drive/boot issue.
Lukaslevin - IMnsHO it would be cost prohibitive to try to change the video chip.
We haven't ruled that out, he specifically says all he gets is a black screen, even with an external, so there a strong likelyhood its more than a simple video issue.
I don't follow. What do you mean by ...its more than a simple video issue.?
How much would you think it would cost?
If we knew the exact model it would help. This could be the Nvidia GPU recall issue.

And i guess that I can't fix the old logic board? Or change a part of it? I don't expect that:)

As I said I think it would cost more than just replacing the entire board. (You need costly equipment to work on these things, something a DIYer wouldn't have)

Basically, you're taxonimizing too much, if you repair the MacBook, you replace parts, that fixes the notebook, not fixing parts. However with some parts you can actually repair, which can be fun+satisfying.

Black screen! It doesn't show anything at all, can be the inverter cable. But can't it be the logic board because if i try to connect a external screen it doesn't work. But the rest ports work. Maybe the graphics card? Any tip?

Its possible that its a bad logic board.
