Cannot turn on Airport after installing new Airport Extreme card?
I purchased an Airport Extreme card from Ifixit quite some time ago and finally got around to installing it. It shows up on System Profile, showing that it is off. All attempts to turn it on fail. I have reopened the computer to recheck and all appears correct. The connectors on the new card are located in slightly different positions, causing one wire to be stretched tight. I had to tape it down to keep it in place, but it remains firmly connected. I tried installing AirPort Extreme 802.11n Enabler, but it won't install on a Core Duo machine. This is a 1.83 GHz model.
System Profiler reports the following:

Is there any way to get this to work? I couldn't find a firmware update. Why would this card even be produced if it can't be turned on?
