Can I connect a device like a printer to the tablet?
I have a printer that I would like to connect to the tablet, is that possible.

You can probably use a wireless printer but not one that has to be plugged directly in.

Yes you can use a printer that is connected by wire because it does have a mini usb port. A great full computer in a smaller form as tablet.

There are a few ways but what kind of tablet and printer are you using? If it's Android based tablet and a regular USB printer, you can connect the printer to the tablet using the OTG adapter and install the specific printer driver.
If your printer is a network printer (with a LAN connection) or if it is WiFi enabled, you could connect it to your router with cable or wirelessly and print from your tablet as long as you are on the same network
Lastly, if the printer has WiFi direct, you can directly make a WiFi connection between the two, independent of any WiFi network, and print directly
