@lebrofitz40 could be a lot of things, like speaker etc. which I would check first. After that you want to take a look at the audio cable solder to the board and the LM386-3 audio amplifier which should be IC103 on the board. See if this document help you out further.Vectrex-Service_Manual.pdf
