Hi. I have the same problem. My imac's display panel shows vertical lines, they reseted my system but this thing came up once again..
apple service here in greece says 480 euros with VAT...
crazy!
where I can find the panel and repair/reconnect it myself.

That LCD is very expensive. It may be part # 661-4434, according to exactly which machine you have. http://www.welovemacs.com/6614434r.html

Thanks for your quick response. The worst thing is that my warranty expired 1 year ago.
Stupid! Now I have to pay for panel or leave it like that with an external monitor attached.
