How to repair usb connection

The connection port where the cable connects to the tablet is partially broken, I think. The cables fit very loose and the charge blinks back and forth ..charging not charging. I have tried many cables to be sure it is the tablet side and not the cable. Where or how can this be fixed? Thank you in advance for any information.

@eljay1250 your tablet uses a charging port board. Available at places like this and others. To get to the board you have to remove the display assembly. Use these guides Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 (2015) Repair or this video for that

You advised that changing the port board would repair the usb cord connection. I noticed it repaired the headphones and sound but nothing on the cable power connection. I want to be sure I am understanding what I was ordering. I could not find a definition for port board and what all it does.I am able to charge my tablet by carefully balancing the cable cord after I plug it into the tablet. But one little nudge or disturbance, it goes off the charging and I end up with a dead tablet until I can get it connected to stay in correctly for a while. Frustrating. I use my tablet a lot.

I am 67 and not an electronic knowledgable kid<G>. My hubby, also 67 is a computer person, retired IT manager and can help me with the installation of this port. But, again, I just want to make sure it will fix the cable connection as well as headphone port that is mentioned in the repair page. Thank you so much for all your help. I am looking forward to getting my tablet fixed. I cannot get another and I would be lost without it.

@eljay1250 I hear your concerns. the board is where the charging connector is soldered to. So if your cable is okay but has a sloppy fit inside the connector, replacing the board would automatically replace the connector. No soldering required. A bit of a pain in the rear to remove the display to get to it, but definitely doable.
