2 MacBook will only start when overriding SMC. Charger comes on orange
Hey guys,
So i have this Macbook Pro a1425, been using it daily displaying stuff in the office on the TV. I shut it down one day and then i couldn't turn it on again, the only way to do it is to hold down power button while attaching the charger, then it turns on with high fans.
I tried replacing the battery and the SMC controller, but then it couldn't start up at all.
any idea of what could cause this?
Update: Ran diagnostics
gives me this error corde: 4HDD/11/40000000: Sata(0,0)
When i run cocunut battery, it doesnt see the battery. when i attach the charger its bright orange for some time and then fades slowly to nothing. But sometimes its orange all the time while the computer is turned on

Lets get a bit more diagnostic data here. Did you run Diagnostics? Hold the D key when you restart the system. Reference Mac startup key combinations.
I would also install this great app: CoconutBattery Past a screenshot of the main window of the app so we can see whats the batteries condition and how its charging. Adding images to an existing question
Add to it what the onboard diagnostics told you for an error message.

Test was run when holding power button down for 5 seconds before attaching macsafe.
