SONY Bravia 40"TV works but NO COLOR?
Can the color be restored to my SONY Bravia 40" TV?
Or is it too cost effective to fix?

What is the model number of the TV?
Are the TV menu screens in colour or in black and white as well?
If menus are in colour:
What is the signal input source, e.g. cable box, antenna etc?
If cable box etc what input type is the signal source connected to, HDMI, AV etc?
Can you try a different input source e.g. a dvd player and / or a different input type e.g. HDMI or AV, to see if the colour works?
