My bosch doesnt dry my dishes snd leaves a funny stale odor

I have a brand new dishwasher and noticed this the very first time I used it and every time since. It is quiet and cleans very well (although the cycle is longer than I expected). My 12-year old dishwasher did not smell. My Bosch has a stainless steel lining and the old one was just plastic,

I also have this issue, and have attributed it to the stainless steel liner. We have city water, although we live in a rural area. I've tried different tablets and keep the rinse aid full. I also feel it doesn't dry my dishes as well as my old Maytag. It's the Bosch 800 series.

We also have a problem with the Bosch dishwasher

.at times even a 3 hour cycle does not wash clean. Does not dry. The biggest problem we are having is the bad smell. Filter is cleaned. We are using this machine for 6.months and scullery is smelling..wat can be done

I am experiencing the same fishy smell problem with my bosch dishwasher. the smell started from the very first wash. I tried all the remedies and so far the smell persists. to make a long story short here is what I think is happening. It could be that bosch has coated its stainless with a fish oil to help prevent corrosion. under normal washing temperatures, there is no smell released from the coating. This dishwasher has no drying element. what it does is it supper heats its final rinse so hot that it drys quicker. I think its this final rinse that releases the smell from the coating. Some units have less of this fish oil than others.

Anyways I wish I lower the temperature of the final rinse.

I also have the same problem i have tried everything Vinegar,baking soda,etc.etc. Still the same smrll persists and it is the stainless in the dishwasher that holds the smell What to do
